This shirt honors three of Skylands’ most iconic escapees: Freddie, Brianna, and Ricardo. Freddie ran through the streets of New York after escaping a slaughterhouse, refusing to give up his life. Brianna leapt off a truck on a New Jersey highway while nine months pregnant, fighting not just for herself but for her unborn calf, Winter. Ricardo shut down the New Jersey Transit tracks when he burst free from a slaughterhouse and ran with the whole world watching. Each of them embodies courage, instinct, and the unbreakable will to live.
We’re celebrating 10 years of sanctuary, advocacy, and the kind of rescue work that sometimes takes every ounce of Mike’s determination and every bit of the “magic” he’s become known for. These animals are safe because people believe in our mission and stand with us in defending lives that others overlook.
This shirt is designed as a tribute to the nostalgic classic rock concert tees we all grew up wearing. The front features our three legends, and the back lists the many escapees who have found freedom and sanctuary at Skylands. When you wear it, you’re not just wearing a shirt, you’re carrying their stories, their victories, and the message that every life is worth fighting for.
